From the M5 (Taunton, Bristol, London etc.)
  • Leave the motorway at Junction 30 (Exeter, Services).
  • Take the fourth exit from the roundabout (Services).
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit.
  • At the following roundabout take the third exit (to Pinhoe and the University - A38).
  • Follow the A38 to the traffic lights then filter left down the slip road into Pinhoe Road.
  • Follow this road for approximately half a mile until you see shops on the right. Turn right just before the zebra crossing.
  • Go straight across the crossroads by the Micawbers public house, into Summer Lane.
  • Turn left at the end of Summer Lane, into Beacon Lane.
  • After approximately 200 yards, turn left at the roundabout. Follow the road down and turn right across a small bridge into the Atkinson Unit.
From the A30 (East Devon, Honiton etc.)
  • Follow sign to Exeter, filters onto dual carriageway. Pass under the M5, straight on roundabout, past the Barn Owl pub on right.
  • Turn left towards Middlemoor Police Headquarters (no right turn) so take 4th exit towards Pinhoe. Follow this road to the end and join the Exeter by-pass (A38).
  • Continue as from 5. above.
From the A38 (West Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall etc.)
  • Follow the A38 to Middlemoor Police Headquarters.
  • Take the second exit (Pinhoe and the University).
  • Continue as from 5. above.
